About The Author:
"Paul Arden (1940–2008) spent a stormy 18 years in advertising and then found his Alma Mater in Saatchi & Saatchi in 1977, where he worked for 15 years. During his tenure as Executive Creative Director he was responsible for some of Britain's most successful advertising campaigns – including British Airways, Silk Cut, Intercity and Fuji – and famous slogans, such as 'The Car in front is a Toyota' and 'The Independent – It is. Are you?'. In 1993 Arden set up the film production company Arden Sutherland-Dodd and began a successful second career as a writer with a weekly column in The Independent and several publications including Whatever You Think, Think The Opposite (2006) and God Explained In A Taxi Ride (2007)."
All orders are usually shipped with DPD using a next day service, however we also use Royal Mail or UPS depending on the size of parcel. Once shipped, you will be sent your tracking number and you will be updated on your parcel's progress by either text or email. You will also be able to manage your delivery, including requests to leave parcels in a safe place/ with a neighbour and to arrange re-delivery.
An additional charge will be applied to items that are larger, heavier and more difficult to send. Items with an additional charge will have it stated in the product description under "Delivery". These items require special care and different delivery requirements to standard courier services.
Click + Collect:
Hi to you lovely locals, we are offering a click & collect service from the new showroom located in Alexandria Trading Estate, Sidmouth. Our Pick up times will be Monday - Sat 10am-5pm. Just order through the website as usual and select the 'pick up' option in delivery. One of our team will then aspire to prepare & be ready with your parcel of joy within 24hrs of ordering. You will receive confirmation when it is ready for collection!
