A Russian drone strike near a company shuttle bus in eastern Ukraine has resulted in the deaths of twelve people, according to a regional official. The attack occurred in the Pavlohrad district.
Preliminary information also indicates that seven additional individuals sustained injuries from the strike. Oleksandr Ganzha, the chief of the regional military administration, shared this information via Telegram, stating, “We are investigating the details. An air alert is ongoing in the region.”
This incident follows other attacks that took place early on Sunday. At that time, local officials reported that at least nine other people had been injured. In Zaporizhzhia, a drone strike targeted a maternity hospital, injuring six people. Among the injured were two women who were undergoing medical examinations when the facility was hit.
Separately, officials reported fatalities in other southern and central Ukrainian cities. In Kherson, another city in the south, three people were killed in distinct attacks. The central city of Dnipro also experienced separate attacks that claimed three lives.
